These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
HILLSBORO
Drug possession, driving offenses
A syringe and a trace amount of methamphetamine were seized after Hillsboro police located on US-56 near Kanza Rd. a vehicle sought by sheriff’s deputies at 8:50 p.m. March 11, and a police dog indicated the possible presence of illicit substances.
Officer John Huebert stopped the vehicle for having a license plate not assigned to it.
Bryan T. Grosse, 45, Marion, was arrested on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia, having an expired license plate, failing to have vehicle liability insurance, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. He was released Friday after posting a $5,000 bond.
Criminal damage
Linda R. Ramirez, 37, Marion, reported that a passenger side doorknob on her 1992 GMC Sonoma was broken and paint was scratched while it was parked between 5 p.m. Thursday and 11 p.m. Friday outside a residence in the 300 block of W. Adams St.
